Mechanical Flange Spreader ATEX 9,4 ton
MATCH manufactures the MSW9TEX mechanical flange spreader, which delivers a spreading force of 9.4 tonnes (94 kN). Operators manually control the device using the included torque wrench, ensuring precise and safe application of force. This tool provides an ideal solution in situations where using hydraulic or pneumatic systems is not possible. If one wedge is not enough, we also offer the MSW9TEX Twin Kit.
Technicians use the spreader during the maintenance and installation of pipe systems, especially when replacing gaskets, valves, elbows, or when separating flange connections. Its compact design allows them to insert it into gaps as narrow as 6 mm.
The MSW9TEX model is ATEX certified. The tool can be used in explosion hazard zones 1 and 2 (excluding the use of a PU case). This makes it a safe tool for the chemical, petrochemical, offshore, marine and refinery industries, where safety standards are extremely high.
The design, which does not require an external power supply and has no hydraulic components, makes this model extremely easy to service and independent of additional accessories.
