Equalizer International has developed the SWi2025TIEX Standard SPB as a special version of the integral hydraulic flange spreader, equipped with ATEX certification. This allows users to use the tool safely in potentially explosive atmospheres (zones 1 and 2). The tool retains all the technical advantages of the SWi2025TI, while offering the increased level of safety needed in high-risk environments.
With its integrated pump and cylinder, the hydraulic spreader provides a self-sufficient and mobile solution, ideal for working in confined spaces. The SWi2025TIEX from Equazlier generates an expansion force of up to 25 tonnes (250 kN) and allows for gap expansion from 6 mm to 103.5 mm. The innovative interlocking wedge system provides exceptional stability during operation and minimises the risk of uncontrolled movement.
