The SG6TMSTD is an extension of the innovative SECURE-GRIP valve-out spreader line from Equalizer International. It has been developed for separating flanges in the most demanding conditions where there is no standard access gap. The tool was the result of years of research and development, becoming one of the safest and most innovative spreaders available on the market.
The SECURE-GRIP SG6TMSTD uses patented expanding collet technology, which allows a controlled spreading force to be applied inside the flange. This makes it possible to separate flange joints without the need for a minimum access gap – the tool operates from the inside in a safe, stable and predictable manner.
